What our sensors tell us about

Operation of BCS – Tub Sort

When tub sorting on the BCS ensure your
C grip is no greater than 3cm and alternate hands/stacker levels to avoid overloading the elbow, wrist and shoulder joints.

Remember “nose follow toes” so you’re always facing forwards to minimise any excessive leaning or reaching.

EMP Sensor Observations

Sensor observations are a highly accurate and objective way of measuring risk during manual handling tasks.  By using the correct movement you will help reduce stress and strain on your back, shoulders and neck.
