Meet the team

Dale Turner

After having worked in various fields in the physiotherapy industry, Dale saw the gaps between workplace health and safety and injury management. Besides some basic early intervention type programs, workplaces had few options but to hope and pray their staff coped with the physical demands common of many manual industries.
It was this chasm that challenged Dale to question the value of onsite Physiotherapy alone. Any onsite service needed to look at job tasks in more detail and it also needed to look at an individuals’ function in more detail. Pain is not a reliable predictor of who will get injured and how an injury is improving, function is the key.

With this in mind, Dale set about shifting the paradigm for onsite services and incorporated the best in technology after a global search. The result is an onsite program he is extremely proud to call ‘best in class’ with company cost savings and worker health and safety results equally as impressive.

What our clients say…

Michael Sinni – Liston Medal Winner and Facility Manager at Aus Post, Melbourne Gateway Facility.

‘Our site is a fast moving environment with 650 staff. We have a lot of repetitive work with Drivers and Freight Handlers. The prevention program has played a major part in turning around our safety culture. Since being onsite, EMP have helped reduce our number of LTI’s, in fact all our safety measures have improved.’
Darren Bott – Operations Manager for VIC/TAS for Startrack.

‘To have an EP come out and actually see what we do makes a really big difference. I use the techniques taught to me all the time and now I think before I move. I’d recommend this to all workers. This program works! It gave me quality of life that I didn’t have for a long time. I bought a motor bike again because I’m now confident to ride it and move better and am stronger than before.’
